Developers Conference 2006![]() Location-enhanced applications and services have become the common canvas for market differentiation and compelling end-user experience. As the provider of geospatial software solutions to the industry's most successful application developers, deCarta is at the center of this phenomenon. deCarta hosted its second annual Developers Conference on Wednesday and Thursday, October 4th and 5th, 2006 at the new Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF in San Francisco. This two-day event featured presentations from deCarta engineers, executives and Developer Zone partners, new product announcements, workshops, a networking reception and more. In addition, the conference featured stimulating discussions and talks on the business of location applications and its implications for all of us in the LBS value chain.
Format In conjunction with the conference, developers were able to attend a day-long workshop on deCarta's Developer Zone and DDS Web Services with the goal of completing a full-featured live application at the end of the day. Attendees enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere and a special Wednesday evening reception and mixer event at San Francisco's famous (and fun!) Exploratorium. Click here for a detailed agenda. |
